7.0 Insights ModuleThe Insights Module provides you the ability to view aggregate data reports for the people for which you have the security to view. There are three sections in the Insights. All data captured in P-CIS, from any type of assessment, funnels directly into the Success Focused Insights. This allows you to use filters to drill into insights for specific care populations. The Insights continuously learn about your agency, your Collaborations, Helpers and service populations, updating insights based on who is served and what works for whom.

7.1 Insight FiltersFrom the Insights Module, you can see all of the people for whom you have access. You may want to filter the Insights to show only a subset of people or a specific person, which can be done through selection of the filters. Figure 7.1.a displays all available filters, which are also described in the following list. Description of Filters: Date Range: Entering a date range will limit the people who were active or discharged between the selected dates.

7.2 Waterfall of Items First, Discovered and Resolved InsightsThe Waterfall of Items First, Discovered and Resolved (WIP) Insights help determine the proportion of people who present with a need, strength or underlying item or are later discovered to have one. These insights identify which areas are more often resolved and which are unresolved after reassessment. By identifying needs/strengths that are often resolved by a program or staff, you can begin to identify program and staff strengths. Staff who are found to resolve needs or build strengths more often can be identified for leadership opportunities to share their approaches and methods with other staff.

This dashboard helps determine which assessment items, when resolved, are most strongly associated with success in care. It helps determine which people experience successful outcomes and which people more often do not experience successful outcomes, according your agency’s own definition of success. 7.4 Care Compare InsightsThe Care Compare Insights acts as a decision support tool providing information about past performance to support care decisions. It is a tool to match people to practices, collaborations, interventions and care using Story Markers. For incoming people or for people needing a change to their care plan, Care Compare uses Story Markers to help identify similar people who have been successfully served previously by the agency. The dashboard displays data from the 20 most similar people served, identifies the collaborations, the care duration and the level of success.
