7.1 Insight Filters
From the Insights Module, you can see all of the people for whom you have access. You may want to filter the Insights to show only a subset of people or a specific person, which can be done through selection of the filters. Figure 7.1.a displays all available filters, which are also described in the following list.
- Description of Filters:
- Date Range: Entering a date range will limit the people who were active or discharged between the selected dates. This filter works in combination with the Active_or_Discharged filter.
- Age_at_Last_Assessment: This will limit the Insights to show people whose age on the last assessment matches the ages selected.
- Gender: This will limit the Insights to show people whose gender matches the genders selected.
- Sex: This will limit the Insights to show people whose sex matches the sexes selected.
- Sexual_Orientation: This will limit the Insights to show people whose sexual orientation matches the sexual orientations selected.

- Success_Needs_Resolved: This applies to the Patterns and Priorities of Success Insights. This will identify the minimum proportion of needs for focus that were identified during care that were resolved by the last assessment to meet your definition of success. The default setting is 50%.
- Success_Strengths_Built: This applies to the Patterns and Priorities of Success Insights. This will identify the minimum number of strengths that were identified to build during care that were strengths to use by the last assessment to meet your definition of success.
- Success_Support_Needs_Resolved: This applies to the Patterns and Priorities of Success Insights. This will identify the minimum proportion of support needs for focus that were identified during care that were resolved by the last assessment to meet your definition of success.
- Helper: This will limit the Insights to show people who were assigned to the selected Helper.
- Person: This will limit the Insights to show the person who is selected. Selecting a person is required for comparing care in the Care Compare Insights.
Note: For the Patterns and Priorities of Success Insights, at least one Success filter must have a filtering value set. For the Care Compare Insights, a person must be selected to compare care. The Waterfall of Items First, Discovered and Resolved Insights work well for populations, subgroups or for a single person.
